Your Community Connection to Resources.
For many people who need help, who can't afford rent or don't know where their next meal is coming from, it can be difficult to navigate the endless maze of resources and services that are available to help them. Sometimes one call is all it takes to get someone on the path to self-sufficiency.
United Way's 2-1-1 is there for people who just need a little direction. Many call when they are struggling but simply aren't sure what they need or where to turn.The highly trained Community Specialists are knowledgeable about what resources are available and how to access them.
In 2015, United Way 2-1-1 helped over 11,000 people find resources and community services throughout northwestern Colorado. People call 2-1-1 for aging services, crisis hotlines, disaster recovery, donation referrals, food, housing and utility assistance, health and medical needs, legal assistance, volunteer opportunities, and many other needs.
How You Can Help:
Your gift to United Way's 2-1-1 enables people in the community to move down the path to self-sufficiency by helping them gain access to the resources they need.
A gift of $250 or more to United Way 2-1-1 is eligible for the Enterprise Zone Tax Credit.
Please note that in accordance with Department of Revenue requirements, in order to claim Enterprise Zone Tax Credit, donors will have to provide the last four digits of their social security number so that United Way staff members may help complete tax form DR0075.
