B.A.S.E. Camp, Inc.

During the month of April BASE Camp will be hosting STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) week at 14 of our sites. Each of these 14 sites will be a community guest speaker come in and present during either morning or afternoon program time. Presentations can be focused on something that is related to STEAM that volunteers have personal interests or can be something volunteers do for work. If volunteers prefer an activity to be planned for them this is possible as well.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County needs help painting the interior of our newest Club at Harmony Village in Fort Collins! We want a fresh new look to get the kids excited about their Club!

We would like a group of 10+ people to help clean up/plant the garden at The Farm. This will include raking, pulling old weeds, and preparing a small vegetable garden. This will also include painting some small animal sheds.

Kites in the Park is a large, free community event Celebrating spring, family, and the outdoors. Featured are demonstrations with giant kites, battling kites, and kite ballet. Opportunities to decorate your own kite, visit food and merchandise vendors, and of course, bring your own kite to fly.

Assist City crews to remove woody vegetation in the creek channel, restoring floodplain capacity and creating a safer environment. Volunteers should be comfortable doing work involving lifting, bending and standing while handling heavy wood materials.

This natural area site along the Big Thompson River was severely inundated with flood debris during the 2013 Flood. Although several volunteer clean-up projects and tree removal projects have been completed over the last couple of years, this project will help clean up the final flood debris, remove woody debris, and clear a corridor for a new soft-surface trail to be built this summer.

Hi all!

We have been putting a lot of work in to our new facility and would love some help in the upkeep.

This year we need some painting done to our gazebo and bridge in the backyard, as well as some basic yard work; raking and bagging leaves, etc...

Thanks in advance for helping out! We appreciate all the help we receive from the community, and I know our participants do as well.

Join us as we build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter in partnership with hardworking families in Fort Collins! We welcome all skill levels and will provide on site training and supervision to ensure that you are comfortable with what you?re doing. Make sure that you wear closed toe shoes, dress prepared for the weather and bring a sack lunch for the build day.

We have a few cleaning projects and potentially projects in our clothing and food rooms.

The Junior League of Fort Collins Career Closet will be conducting its Spring Flip of inventory in April and needs your help! We will be shifting all of the winter inventory into storage and "flipping" the boutique to display our Spring and Summer inventory for our clients. We will need help with steaming, sorting, hanging, and organiziang items in the boutique.
