    Starts:Monday, October 23, 2017

    Ends:Sunday, October 29, 2017

The American Red Cross of Northern Colorado is planning to check existing smoke alarms, install new ones as needed, and educate residents in an under served community in Fort Collins. We begin the day at 9 am with a quick training and form teams of 3 to travel in a chosen community. You will work side -by-side with volunteers from Poudre Fire Authority and the American Red Cross to help each household of this community be better prepared in case of a home fire. The event will finish by 2:00 pm.

Volunteers will be painting part of the outside of the building. This project will require some ladder work, as well as ground level work.

We are growing. With this growth we need more shelves for our sites to keep snack shelves built.

Volunteers will help paint the inside of our Loveland-Pulliam Club Unit, specifically our music room.

We would welcome you to help both inside and outside our Mission.

Volunteers pre-stuff trick or treat bags with the event sponsor's goodies! This project involves standing and bending.

Putting in posts and storefronts for the Treatsylvania Event, also raking, painting, etc in preparation for the event

Outgoing volunteers dress in non-scary costumes and are assigned to hand out candy, direct foot traffic, help load and unload participants on and off the hay racks, and distribute cookies and hot chocolate. This event is great for individuals and groups a like.

Help paint and seal decorative rocks for public art displays across the community.

Hogwarts Halloween is a Harry Potter inspired community event for children in grades K-8 and their families. The Northside Aztlan Community center is closed to the public and transformed into Hogwarts. VPL(s) are needed to help recruit and manage volunteers through out the week. Volunteers are needed to help prep materials for event, decorate and/or chaperone the day of the event. Approximately 650 children & parents attended last year (2016).
