Go past Lemay Ave. The Natural Areas Office is located .79 miles east of Lemay Ave. There is a small sign marking the junction. Go south toward the Natural Areas Office. (the distance is about 3 miles from College Ave).

Come help restore vegetation in Woodward's backyard! Volunteers will help plant 40+ Native shrubs and trees at Homestead Natural Area. This area used to be a golf course and was considered a 'dead-zone' for Wildlife. By helping plant trees and shrubs we are creating appealing and safe areas for wildlife to thrive. Volunteers will be digging, planting, watering and mulching plants. We will finish with a clean-up of the area.
Children, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles are all welcome to join in on the festivities!

Hogwarts Halloween is a Harry Potter inspired community event for children in grades K-8 and their families. The Northside Aztlan Community center is closed to the public and transformed into Hogwarts. VPL(s) are needed to help recruit and manage volunteers through out the week. Volunteers are needed to help prep materials for event, decorate and/or chaperone the day of the event. Approximately 650 children & parents attended last year (2016).

We are in need of lockers for adults in our day program. We welcome any design choice or engineering. We just need x100 1 ft x 1 ft lockers for participants to secure their belongings while at our day program. We can supply some of the wood, but we do not have an unlimited budget. We can work to get donations of supplies.

As the summer winds down, we are looking to do some basic cleanup of our property to prepare for the upcoming seasons. We have a beautiful new property and have been working all year to spruce it up for our participants to enjoy. All that is left now is for us to keep it looking great!
We would love some help sweeping, blowing, mowing and general maintenance to the gardens, as well as perhaps some light touch-up painting.
We will provide all materials needed as well as snacks and water for the day, just bring a smile and a readiness to enjoy the beautiful weather and good company!

The Gardens on Spring Creek is a community botanic garden located in midtown Fort Collins. During the month of December we have an event called Garden of Lights. After months of hanging thousands of LED lights and preparing for the event, we are open every night of the week to the public. Every year we add new light displays. This year we would like to add a life size light bright for visitors to interact with as well as a new photo board. We are in need of a group who would like to take on this project. This is a great DIY project for volunteers with some tool and building experience.
