The Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County needs help painting the interior of our newest Club at Harmony Village in Fort Collins! We want a fresh new look to get the kids excited about their Club!

Our Wellington Clubhouse is our smallest club. If you enjoy building relationships with children and interacting with the same children on a day-to-day basis, then working at the Wellington Clubhouse is for you!

Volunteers provide caring relationships, model positive behaviors and expose members to diverse cultures and experiences. By helping at the Clubs, you can build the resources Club kids need to succeed. We at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County believe volunteers can provide the added support to enhance our programs and enrich lives. You can make a positive impact on a child's life, and you will see the benefits as well.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County is looking for caring people to act as volunteer mentors to kids 9 to 15 years old.

Mentors can be one-on-one or small groups. Mentors will meet their mentees at the Boys & Girls Clubs (Loveland, Fort Collins, or Wellington) and help with homework, play games, and discuss day to day events. Mentors are encouraged to meet once a week for at least an hour.

Mentoring at the Boys & Girls Clubs is less formal then other mentor programs. Boys & Girls Clubs provides all activities for you and your mentee! Mentor/Mentees must stay on site.

Boys and Girls Club utilizes volunteer readers, tutors and mentors. They are looking for several volunteers to serve as readers and tutors during their after school program. Mentors are needed all around the club and should plan to volunteer for a semester or two. Volunteers will be working with children ages 6 to 15 and generally come in once a week. Mentors are required to spend 1 hour per week with their mentees. All volunteers must pass a background check, which costs $20 for the volunteer.

Are you interested in helping Boys & Girls Club of Larimer County with two of our major events? With the Boys & Girls Club Bash on June 25th, and STEAMfest on September 17th, there is plenty of opportunity to make an impact on children's lives!

Indicate your interest below by choosing either of the time slots available!
