Agency Description

Volunteers provide caring relationships, expose members to diverse cultures and experiences, and model positive behaviors during club hours. Volunteers are connected with opportunities that match their availability, skills, and interests working directly with members, small groups, providing staff support, or assisting with programs and special events. Volunteers must pass a criminal background screen and attend volunteer orientation.

Mission Statement: Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. The Club environment consists of a safe place, staffed by trained professionals, offering proven programs. Our 5 Clubhouses in Fort Collins, Loveland, and Wellington are open daily after school until 7pm, and from 7:30 am to 6 pm during the summer and all school breaks. With a focus on positive outcomes in the areas of academic success, character & citizenship, and healthy lifestyles, and a membership fee of just $20/year, we open the door to GREAT futures for kids and teens in our community.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County

From 06/04/2018 to 01/31/2019

Technology Activity Leader

Volunteers needed to help with our Technology programming. This would include running programs regarding programming, coding, and using programs such as Hour of Code. This is also an opportunity to bring your own knowledge of technology into the Club to share with the members. This would take place 1-2 times a week in the afternoon.

Our Wellington Clubhouse is our smallest club. If you enjoy building relationships with children and interacting with the same children on a day-to-day basis, then working at the Wellington Clubhouse is for you!

Volunteers provide caring relationships, model positive behaviors and expose members to diverse cultures and experiences. By helping at the Clubs, you can build the resources Club kids need to succeed. We at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County believe volunteers can provide the added support to enhance our programs and enrich lives. You can make a positive impact on a child's life, and you will see the benefits as well.

Are you interested in helping Boys & Girls Club of Larimer County with two of our major events? With the Boys & Girls Club Bash on June 25th, and STEAMfest on September 17th, there is plenty of opportunity to make an impact on children's lives!
